Disney Books
There are many collectors of Disney Books.
The most desirable ones are from the 1930s and 1940s in good clean condition.
For a collector a book should have clean covers and preferably a dustjacket (increases value immensely) and must not have been written in or crayoned !
If any puzzles are inside then these should not have been filled in.
Most Popular books are on Steamboat Willie/Early Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Donald Duck and Pluto.
Some of the most valuable Early Disney Books are the Pop-Up books on Mickey,Minnie and Pinocchio from the 1930s but there are plenty of later valuable books too.
Although the 1933 Mickey and Minnie Mouse Pop-Ups recently sold for $862,

It is definitely worth looking for Disney books that are over 40 years old !
Look for these not only in bookshops but also at thrift stores,yard sales and house clearances.
Autions often include Disney books and it is well worth while checking out recent prices achieved on the internet.
(But i Would not do that at the auction on a phone or blackberry or you will give other people the idea !)
